  • Atkins warning! Bad side effect...

now that I'm not eating junk food I had so many friggin dishes to wash :anger
Just meant as a joke! But I really am dealing with drastically more dirty dishes than before.

Lol, I totally know what you mean. Things don't just go from boxes or cans to bowels. I do dishes about twice a day now. It's def. worth it to me though.

Also now that I am also not eating junk food I have much more money to spend on better things.

I agree with you about the dishes bit, btw. Its amazing how much extra energy we get.

Definitely worth it. I work out of a home office so I'm having all meals at home = more dishes. But I'm enjoying the fresh foods that I'm making. I'm going through lots of dirty knives and anything that measures.

This actually is a bad thing for me! I have eczema on my hands so can't put them in dish water. I have to use rubber gloves with cotton gloves underneath, and even then not for very long. Dang eczema! :anger

The pile of dishes is mocking me! But to do them today in this unbearable heat would wipe me out. The kitchen is HOT!

Yeah, before Atkins, my meals were served right out of the white take-out sack.

              Blech. :vomit

I know ttdriver! My old favorites just sound kind of gross now. And even though I have more dishes, I also have less garbage. See, Atkids are even helping the environment! I lot of my garbage now goes to my muckpile (that would be a pile of horse turds, along with all the other usual compost stuff).

Oh man, I hope you've grown out of being a muckpile. I just wonder what you did to earn that one!

I hear you, my friend! I've had severe eczema on my hands that comes and goes through the years. Fortunately, I'm clear right now, thanks to a really good medicine. For many years, though, I hated to get my hands wet because they would dry out, crack, and itch mercilessly!

I have tons and tons of dishes to do, too. A small price to pay though!

AAHHH...you are a wise man.......I soooooo agree, I love paper plates and plastic ware....However, I do wash my fine plastic ware and resuse them forever....Kinda makes me wonder why I do that! But paper plates? Don't want to live without them!

I am compltely with you on washing dishes! I HATE doing them. I'd rather not eat than cook something and have dishes. Which isn't good either. Stone on the right and left!!
