I'd been making smoothies with greek yogurt, strawberries and sf vanilla syrup recently. But this morning I did something different. I tool 1/2 cup of the greek yogurt (4 carbs) mixed in 3 teaspoons (a little less would have sufficed) and used that mixture to top my 3 oz of strawberries. It was so yummy I felt like such a cheater! It tasted like strawberry shortcake with no cake. I think the yogurt and vanilla syrup made a great topping and is quicker than whipping cream.

Sounds good. :yummy
I don't use alot of sweetener, but sometimes I find that plain whipped cream is boring and flavorless. So what I've been doing lately is mix alittle sour cream with the heavy cream before whipping (about 1 tablespoon of sour cream per 1 cup of heavy cream). That little bit of sour cream gives the heavy cream a "kick" that goes well with sweet foods like berries.~Megs~

I use Fry's Cocoa powder, but i'm not sure if you can get it in the US.
It should be baking cocoa, unsweetened, not the hot chocolate kind. I think the carb counts vary but the highest i've ever seen is about 2g. Fry's actually has 2g carbs, 2 of fibre so it's 0 per 2 tbspns. . I still count as one just in case.
Can't really remember if cocoa powder is ok in induction, i think it is in moderation. Maybe do a search on 'cocoa'.
It's actually a very good desert! just adjust the sweetener amount to your taste...Jen, 39, F
