Hi all,
I think something similar is being discussed elsewhere, but I just wanted to post my own scale weirdness. Since Saturday June 11 my weight has been all over the place. I was 258.5 then and have been up to a max of 263.5 and a low of 259.5 since then (I'm 261 today). But, I've lost inches. So, I know my body is most likely hanging onto water (I do feel puffy). This past Friday I went to a surprise party for a friend that we dubbed "The Festival of Meats" since there were wings, ribs, cheese and coldcuts, devilled eggs, stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, and many other assorted meat-type things (and a few veggies and dip). I did have several wings that had a tiny bit of sugar in the sauce, but mostly stuck to legal foods. However, the next day I was up to 263.5 from 260.5 the day before! :yikes I know I didn't gain 3 lbs overnight and it has been coming off.
I'm not too concerned, more intrigued by the scale fluctuations while I'm losing inches. I haven't updated my siggie with the higher weights since I know they'll pass soon. Seems my body is just being stubborn and clinging to water.
