Great Group!

I just wanted to say, this is a great group. Whenever people here at work are talking about getting snacks, candy/treats I just log on to the boards and that is how I get my motivation to say "No Thank you". Everyone here has such wonderful stories, and you all provide such support it really helps.

I love this board too ... the attitudes of the moderators are great! I love the fact that people who choose to cheat and go off plan are told they are NOT doing Atkins .. as it should be .. I was a member of another board where cheaters were the rule instead of exception .. well lo and behold I was banned from that board for my HARDCORE stand ..

You're right Kim, about this board! People here are great, and very encouraging, and helpful, and above all understanding. We're all in the same boat!!! And you have found a great one for smoother sailings!!!

It really makes a big difference when you have people that you don't want to let down. I always find encouragement and support from the ADBB. It kept me from cheating and above all gave me a place to go when I was feeling depressed or anxious. Those were my critical times and instead of eating, I'd turn to the information and stories in the forums to keep me motivated.

A while back there were some even harder-core mods here who left to form their own forums....it didn't last long.
One of these days I need to look 'em up again...I really miss them. :sadblinky
