Brook and 2Big were my biggest inspirations when I first started almost 2 years ago. They were both also very helpful when I had questions.

I wanted to point something out though and please don't take it wrongly, but you should really LINK to someone's site (like spirittalker), not Copy & Paste everything here.

Perhaps you didn't read closely enough? Cause uh, I did put a link, right in my original post, as seen below, thanks. You may want to go back and re-read it.

What's with the attitude? She said please don't take it wrong. She obviously just missed the link. There was an awful lot there to go through.

I didn't take it wrong, and she's right, a link should be provided. Which is what I did initially. If someone's gonna take the time to point out that I should have provided a link, I'd think they'd take the time to check and be sure there was no link first.

I've ALWAYS admired Brook. She has completely transformed her life. She has proven that 'if you can dream it, you can do it.' That's certainly been my inspiration.

I understand you linked also. My POINT is that it's BAD to copy and paste all the words from someone's site. Have the courtesy to send people to the site they worked hard on, and quote maybe highlights from it. Don't C&P everything unless you have her permission to do so.

Well wow. I'm all feelin' like a rock starr & stuff. :dancingb: :dancingb: :dancingb:

                      ROFL!!

                      :love :love

Thanks for all the really kind & amazing replies! Now I get to go tell my kids I really *am* cool. heh heh No, seriously - you all absolutely made my day! Thank you!!

:hug Allie - Thank you for thinking the stuff I wrote up was exactly what I meant for it to be & sharing it You & your success story are amazing, my friend!!

goin2Bgood- Thank you very much for pointing out to those who might not think about it that links are appropriate/appreciated for stuff like that/articles/etc

People always ask about my daughter (already got a couple of PM's thank you!) - and I can't tell you how much it makes my heart smile to see people ask about who I think is one of the coolest kids on the planet (not that I'm partial or anything. LOL!)

Sammy is doing amazingly well. We only have to go in for blood work about once every 6 months now. They're still trying to push growth hormone for her & still haven't figured out what the cause of her endocrine issues is - but she's pretty much learned to self regulate and as a result is a completely obnoxious, mouthy, stubborn ankle biter who is 3 feet tall with 10 feet of attitude. - In other words, she's perfect She's going to grow up & be okay. She'll have struggles & difficulties, but nothing that we can't work through. She gave us a real scare for a couple of years - but her truth is that she will grow up, she can have a family, she can make a difference & that's way more than we dared hope for for a long time.

And this concludes the sappy mom portion of this post. LOL

As for me - I'm recently seperated from my husband & in the last 3 months about 10lbs have found their way back onto my butt. Well......I'M BAAAAAAAAAACK. 10lbs will not turn into 15 or 20lbs. Hope y'all don't mind if I hang around for a bit!

NOW GET BACK TO EXERCISIN' & LOW-CARBIN'!! :::kicks self in own butt:::

She made ADBB what it is today.

Yeah we've had our differences :raving but she's the best/most inspiring mod we've ever had here.(tho the current crop are excellent)

Maybe we should give her the "Moderator Emeritus" title like me. :icondance
