Just got my 2-year blood test results:

test june 2003 june 2005
chol     194    146
HDL       49     66
LDL      117     72
Tri      137    <45
a1c      ??     5.4

I'll look at my 1-year #'s later when I get home.
But I'm sure that these numbers are better!
All the other tests were normal across the board.

This is more proof that Atkins works even long term!

I should know what those numbers mean by now, but I can never remember. So I assume they must be good. Congrats! You are living proof that our WOL is healthful!

HDL = "good" cholesterol is UP
LDL = "bad" cholesterol is DOWN

Tri = Triglycerides are bad mmm kay? They are below the chart now.

Blood pressure is good, blood sugar is good, etc etc etc :icondance
