Anyone know what happened to Peterlock? I have not seen a post from him in a long time. He was so inspirational....

I asked about him a couple of weeks ago and nobody knew anything. His link in his profile was down, too. I hope he's alright.Female

Re: Peterlock ???
Not to worry anyone. I saw Peter on here tonight a little bit ago. Maybe he's got some stuff he needs to work out or what not. I didn't pm him or bother him but I thought I'd let you know that he was here and since he visited he's probably doing o.k. ie...not hurt or worse. I think if we give him space and time he'll come back when he's ready. Just thought you'd like to know.

Re: Peterlock ???
I miss him too and this makes perfect sense. My experience, when I fell off the wagon (I'm not implying Peter has) my first time doing Atkins I didn't post for a year because I felt like such a loser. But I still visited these boards all the time. When I came back I created this name and let my old name go by the wayside LOL.Originally posted by BugabooI think if we give him space and time he'll come back when he's ready.Female/45/5'5

Re: Peterlock ???
I just hope that he understands (and anyone else who went awol) that he can come back, even with all of his old addictions if that be the case, and he'll still find support and caring people here. Sometimes people move on though and no longer need ADBB support or for some reason it's just not the right support for them. We're always here though with open arms whenever someone wants to come back...no questions asked...no answers required. Even a "I'm back...don't ask..." is o.k...we're cool that way.

(just kidding - you don't have to tell)
Yeah, sometimes when I fall off really badly, I don't log-in because I don't want to have to tell everyone that I've fallen off once again because I know I'll get the same replies, and sometimes I'm not ready to hear someone else spank me for being bad because I did enough to myself as it was.
But at least now there is no "hidden" feature in the new boards, we can see people are around and know that they are ok.30yo F 5'5 (166cm)

Re: Peterlock ???
Do a search on him Iap - he's a guy who was very active in the addictions forum, and his siggy had a nice photo of him holding a cat.
He's had to battle a whole heap of addictions and is a forum host (if I remember right). He's been very influential for many of us here, that's why we were missing him because he hasn't been posting for a while.

He and I couldn't be more different from each other...I mean...like in every way, but I did enjoy his posts. Most of them.

LOL! I used Kharma. It's not a big secret or anything, but it wasn't a name anyone would remember. I think there are only a couple posts left over from that name, the rest have been pruned over time.Originally posted by tickletusslerSo who were you before?
