Weighed in at 203 lb this morning.
As we count in England that's fourteen and a half stone, and the weight I was in my late teens as I acheived my adult height of 6 ft 3 in.
I was a bit podgy even then! After climing to 16 stone (224lb) through my University days, I graduated from the Professionally Qualified Officers' course at the Sandhurst Military Acadamy aged 27, and weighing fourteen stone two pounds. So that is my next target - 198 lb. 208 lb pictures below, but more when I get to 14 stone!
I must say I have not felt so good for a long time. I have never eaten better and I am still loosing weight, but quite slowly now!
I am cycling 15 miles a day, and could do much more without strain.
Let me offer thanks to all on this list who supported me over the last 18 months while my weight has fallen from eighteen stone eight pounds - 260 lb.
Let me offer encouragement to those who still wrestle with the carbs and the pounds.
And let me repeat again what the Base Senior Medical Officer said to me:
"Do Atkins - it works."
