  • Survived my son's birthday party

Well, I'm so happy right now. I survived my son's birthday party without straying from extended induction! Even with lots of food (that I had to prepare), a birthday cake, and ice cream from a local farm, I only had what was on the acceptable foods list! Best part is, I didn't want anything that wasn't!

Family members who haven't seen me since Easter were amazed at my progress.

So far, I've lost 42lbs since April 5, 2005, and still have quite a bit left, but it felt great hearing everyone saying how good I looked. Felt even better knowing that I didn't have to feel deprived at the party.

This forum has been such a great help and motivation. I'm so glad I found it!

Congrats Qbu. You've done great, and did not cheat, when it would have been so easy to do so. Determination is a strong trait! Way to go!!!
