Finelly, I have permission from the boss himself! Thank you, thank you, Tom!

This wonderful Bulletin Board is going to be put on the map, by being the board that we promote in our FREE magazine, which now has over 4,000 subscribers. No one need buy a thing (hoping of course somebody will - but usually not many from this board do - so it is all essentially free recipes and info for the taking!).

Thank you, Starmaker. You made my day. I will get back to you via pm.

Wow! That magazine is great! I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing but the broccoli salad looks great! Thank you Jen!! I can't believe it's free...that is too awesome! Even though my budget doesn't allow me to buy any books (husband bought another car!!) it's very kind of you to put the magazine out for free for others. That's what I call "paying it forward"!

I am excited to try some goodies. Course everyone else around me will benefit more from the goodies than me, cause stuff like that tends to stall me. But at least I will be armed with some delish recipes for those few times when a celebration is in order. I didn't buy clothes this month, saving that for next month when another whoosh comes on, so this months "me" budget goes to....cookbooks!

Re: Latest Spring/Summer Edition Splendid Low-Carbing Magazine!

Thanks so much for everyone's very kind remarks! It doesn't matter what it is we do for a living or for other people, it's always nice to feel one's hard work is appreciated. I like the paying forward idea, Bugaboo!

I think Betty, the board's lead administrator, mentioned that is what she is doing here helping other people. Betty also has her success story in the ezine to share with others and to help others. I got some feedback from a friend that she really enjoyed Betty's story.

Starmaker, I agree, it is a good idea to arm yourself with some good low-carb cookbooks (I have my own and a ton of others besides!), then you'll have recipes for every occasion.

I've always loved cooking and baking, but before I knew anything at all practically about the art, I already dreamed about it being my vocation (as a mom and homemaker one day - even although I was studying to be a physiotherapist, I ultimately wanted the former vocation rather). In fact, when I was young and had the opportunity to marry a very rich man's son, who was studying to be a chef/hotel manager (he was studying in England, but would vacation with his dad who lived in Africa and that's where we met), I decided not to, (and this is silly) because I wanted the kitchen and cooking, etc. to be my domain when I was married.

Hi, Jennifer! I just received an e-mail from someone the other day in fact, saying how much they loved your latest Splended magazine. (For the record, her free Internet magazine & cookbooks are fabulous!)

It is really good to see you on the board.

                      Hi Sheila,

It's good to see you too! We miss you on the magazine! I went to your site the other day and saw some new photos of you. You just keep getting prettier!

Sheila has her own great cookbooks and a journal/work book for keeping track of your diet progress (correct me on this one if I've got it wrong).
