Well, I made it one year and can't say enough about this WOE and the people on this board. You folks are so supportive and a huge factor in my success. Thanks for all your help everyone.
Here's a comparison of where I was and where I am:
Start weight: 255 lbs
Current weight: 185 lbs
Starting blood pressure: 168/91 ON MEDICATION
Current blood pressure: 128/65 WITHOUT MEDICATION
Starting waist size: 40 in
Current waist size: 34 in
Former exercise scedule: minimal
Current exercise scedule: daily cardio and weight training (I truly am addicted)
Former BMI: 37
Current BMI: 27
This WOE has become second nature to me, it's amazing how, when done right, this diet will reprogram your brain. Refined sugar and junk food makes me feel sluggish and sick, sometimes it actully makes me physically ill. People ask me how I keep such willpower, I tell them it's not willpower at all, I simply don't want the junk food. (This is coming from a former ice cream ADDICT)!
I've never felt better or been in this good of physical condition.
Hang in there guys, this is the only way to lose weight and keep it off.
