Has anyone else noticed that when you put your food for the day into fitday that if you add your carbs they are different than what fitday says like mine I add my food and make sure its right and it will read 1 carb extra what's up with that

I've noticed this too. It's because they round up. I put in my sweetener as a custom item, it has .5 carbs but FitDay will say it has 1. Same with their food list. If 1 cup of something has 1.002 carbs, FitDay will say it has 2.

If you enter 20 carbs into your goals, then you can go under reports & check your daily report for custom nutrional goals. It will give you the exact the amount of carbs for the day. It's usually just off a bit.

    Hope that helps!

I think that it uses a cumulative total...so for example if an item in your list has say, .49 g - it will show as zero for that entry...then if you add another .49 g item, it will also say zero for that entry, but the total will then be 1 g. Hope this helps~

I just noticed that if you put in two large boiled eggs it reads 1 gr carbs, but the same two large eggs scrambled comes up 3 gr carbs...... what's up with that?

I think they are assuming you are adding milk to it - like lots of restaurants do.
I always add just the raw egg then add any fat or oil I have used to cook it separately.
I started this when I realised that when I entered an omelet it was adding some margarine to it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
