Re: Progress Pics Nov 2004-July 2005
Sarah, I read this on Dr. Phil's website. You are the epitome of this (this is an excerpt)
Dr Phil's Ten Life Laws
You create your own experience.
Strategy: Acknowledge and accept accountability for your life. Understand your role in creating results.
You cannot dodge responsibility for how and why your life is the way it is. If you don't like your job, you are accountable. If you are overweight, you are accountable. If you are not happy, you are accountable. You are creating the situations you are in and the emotions that flow from those situations.
Don't play the role of victim, or use past events to build excuses. It guarantees you no progress, no healing, and no victory. You will never fix a problem by blaming someone else. Whether the cards you've been dealt are good or bad, you're in charge of yourself now.
Every choice you make — including the thoughts you think — has consequences. When you choose the behavior or thought, you choose the consequences. If you choose to stay with a destructive partner, then you choose the consequences of pain and suffering. If you choose thoughts contaminated with anger and bitterness, then you will create an experience of alienation and hostility. When you start choosing the right behavior and thoughts — which will take a lot of discipline — you'll get the right consequences.
Keep doing what you're doing & you'll keep getting what you're getting!!!213.5/126-131/140, 5'5" age 33Original Goal: 160Size 22/4-6-8/8Start BMI: 35.5Current BMI: 21.8MaintenanceStarted Low Carbing 5/23/03Started Atkins 6/11/03

Re: Progress Pics Nov 2004-July 2005
Thank you all these pics remind me of where I have come from and how hard I have worked. This has not been easy and I have been plagued by illness the entire time. I won't get into it. SO anybody can do it if I can. I have Hashimotos hypothyroidism, and Vit B 12 deficiency Anemia and I'm still losing not as fast as some faster then others but, I work hard exercise like a finatic except for 6 weeks when I was extremely ill. No matter how may Hits I take I keep on comming on stronger. I can take a hit now and bounce right back cause I have learned through my patience that I cna do anything.
Thank you Allie for that wonderful Exerpt that is me now and I can tell you time and time again. That I ahve changed inot the person you see before you before life would hit me and it was an excuse to let myself go. NO MORE I am soo strong now I swear a mac stuck couldn't hit me hard enough to move me from my path casue I am gunna do it. Going on 9 months here 78 pounds gone. What is not to celebrate.

I'm Glad I hope it fires everyone up to do well cause we all have it in us to suceed. We make our own destiny choose our own paths make our own choices nobody to blame but ourselves but, we have it inside to change the way we think the way we feel the way we perceive things in our lives we have the power to change it EVERYBODY can do it, look inside and there it is it's in you

You are such an inspiration Sarah
in the way you just keep on keeping on no matter what!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
