Really cross with Fitday
I finally succumbed and went to the 'buy' page to download it onto my laptop for use when we go to an Exhibition with the caravan next week.
What a bummer - they will only sell to people who live in Canada or the USA - even though I didnt want them to post the CD - just wanted to download the programme!!
Their form insists you enter a USA or Canadian phone number would you believe?? It took several attempts until I realised why it kept refusing to let me 'continue' so I got extra mad at them
I find it hard to accept that when we (with a tiny mom and pop shop) are happy to send tools and equipment worth hundreds of pounds across the pond to customers but a large concern like theirs who are risking pennies by sending a CD and nothing by allowing downloads are not set up for international sales.
If anyone else not living in those two countries was thinking of buying the programme could you send them an email asking why they are discriminating against the rest of the world?
I am not a software engineer but I imagine it is only a question of changing a few lines of code that would need to be changed. And if they dont want to post things abroad I am sure most people only want to buy the download anyway.
