Re: Hair Loss! Help! Please tell me it will stop before I am bald!
I've posted about this several times, but I've always lost a good bit of hair..... then a couple of months after starting Atkins, I noticed I was losing a whole lot more. I read the article on the Womens Forum about what causes it, but it didn't alleviate my fears.
Anyway, I have faithfully taken my supplements, including fish oil, flaxseed oil and biotin. Well it's been a few months since the large amounts of hair started falling out and I noticed last week that I have new hair growing in! They're little spikey hairs, all along my hairline.
And the hair loss has slowed back to it's old amounts.
So I'm walking proof that it does grow back! Just don't panic and get on/off the diet because you just keep stressing your hair and the loss will continue - and take your supplements, and eat your fat/protein!
