  • Cup of decaf for a treat?

When my family all goes for the ice cream
for an after dinner treat-I used to feel sorry
    for myself .

Now I make a creamy cup of decaf coffee
with cream and Splenda and sip on it.
    It hits the spot .

    Anyone else enjoy java

I love coffee and I fix it much the same way.
Also you can make ice coffee
or add one of the DiVince Sugar-free syrups
I also love cocoa in the winter, I make it with cream and cocoa power and splenda. All induction friendly. Yumm

At home, my "dessert" is usually fruit or cheese.

Whenever I go to a restaurant, I usually have a cup of tea or coffee for "dessert"---I don't trust fruit at restaurants because sometimes they have the habit of marinating them in either a strained jam sauce or a plain sugar syrup to make inferior and underripe fruit taste better.

I go to Starbucks, order a Tall (small) House Blend coffee with 1 ounce of heavy cream and 1 packet of Splenda. (If it's not the drive thru and I go in there myself, I add some ground cinnamon as well.) Then I ask for a large cup of ice and a straw and transfer it all over. It's really, really good!!

The reason I don't just order an iced coffee is because not only does it cost more than what is cited above, you get less. Thanks, I'll do it myself!

I never thought of "icing down my coffee"...but in this
hot weather I'm sure I would love it! I love my after dinner
cofee so much I drink it even if the temp is 100 degrees.

Iced coffee is wonderful. I do the same thing, and its true, it is alot cheaper that way, and you know exactly what is going into the coffee. I got a few strange looks at first, but now they're used to it! It's called being creative!

We make a big pot of coffee in the mornings and there is always some leftover. After it cools I stick it in the fridge, then whenever I'm ready for it I just add cream and a teeny bit of splenda (not much for sweets) and pour it over ice---heck of alot cheaper than Starbucks and yummier too cause the coffee's already cold, it doesn't melt the ice and get it all watered down.
