Hi all! This is my first time posting. A short weight bio first....I've pretty much always been overweight. I was skinny for like one year when I was about 19. I weighed 145 then. Then I got my heaviest when I was pregnant 4 years ago....222! Post pregnancy I was 180 and have slowly gained since then, up to 210. I have completed a cheat free 2 week induction and lost 12 pounds. I plan on staying on extended induction for about a month then moving to OWL. I am rereading DANDR to help me decide when to officially make the switch to OWL. I am a stay at home mom of 3 girls! A major turning point in my life was when I realized I have about 2 pictures of me and my girls from the last 4 years because I hate seeing myself in pictures. I realized I'm erasing myself from my chidrens first memories. I can't wait to be at my goal weight and take zillions of pictures WITH my family! This is getting longer than planned, sorry. I really wanted to tell all of you that I have been reading all of your posts for the past 2 weeks and am very impressed by all of your support and encouragement! I've never seen a board that has so many positive posts! I hope to be apart of all the encouraging, support and success! One quick question before I'm done....I still get headaches in the pm....I assume it is from caffeine withdrawls...used be a BIG pepsi fan...so I've been taking tyelenol or advil. That's ok right? Anybody have non medicine ways of dealing with headaches from caffeine withdrawls? Thanks for your time! Have a great and healthy day!

Re: Bio and ?
Welcome to ADBB and congrats on getting off to such a good start!
I'd suggest giving your doctor a call about the caffeine withdrawals and headaches. Regularly taking pain meds to stop headaches can cause rebound headaches. Your doctor or the nurse will be able to help you figure out if this is what's happening.

Re: Bio and ?
I don't think there is much you can take for the caffeine headache. They are wild. If they are really bad, you may want to ease off the caffeine slowly. I know thats not allowed but if you can't take asprin or tylonal, that might be your best bet.
Also vitamin C might help some.
Keep posting and let us know how your doing
