You're CRAZY! You look amazing in both pics! But you can tell that you're not happy in the orange, it peeks through. As everyone else has said, you CAN do this, and you WILL.

I sure hope you can see a remarkable difference! That first picture was almost 70lbs ago! LOL

You're right though - it's only 15lbs, and I'll be close to a 1/3 of the way back to where I belong in the next 7-14 days. No sweat!! (Well, okay, lots of sweat, but no big deal, right?! ) Ain't nothin' to it but to do it!

      Thanks again, everyone!!

                    (((goin2)))

Today has been a good day.

A little low on calories, and the funny thing is that in these totals I added in a snack that I haven't eaten yet. A little high in protein and low in fat, but all in all - not bad.

brook, I totally know how you feel. I let myself gain 20 pounds after reaching goal last year and now i'm ten away. I look at pictures of me now and then and just want to kick myself. People say I look great etc... and I know I do'nt look hideous or anything but to *me* I look bad because I know how I can look and DID look not too long ago. And if it weren't for the train wreck of life I'd still look like that! Looking at the picture reminds me that I have to learn to be strong, and that this WOE really helps me do that - I can control myself better when i'm dieting for some reason.

In any case, I'm here for the same reason, to get that control back and those pounds GONE!

I think you look good in both photos. I don't think you look overweight with the extra 15 lbs. You look very healthy at your current weight and your face looks perfect! It just depends on what you want and also depends on what is a reasonable weight to maintain. Sometimes the very skinny weight is difficult to maintain without exercising a LOT!

Still, I know how you feel, as I have felt that way many times too.

Brook, I don't know if you remember me, but I use to come here quite often. I just started another new weight loss journey. I'm so glad to see you around here again, because for a while you were mia. I have to say that you've always been such a big inspiration to me and I know that you will get that 15 lbs off soon because you have such willpower *could you pass some my way?* lol

                              Good to see you again!

Brook, Congratulations on giving up smoking, (I am right? you are quitting?) That's a really big thing to do, give yourself a lot of credit. I quit in January, its been a tough year.
I read the melting page and I went charity shopping and bought 6 exercise videos. I'm not sure what to do with them, I need to learn to drive the video player first I am worried about injury and feeling a bit out of my depth (oooo, new thing!) but I figure I'll find my way. And you will too.
