  • Does anyone use FitWatch

Hi, just wondering if anyone used this website, they have a nice calorie calculator but I am wondering how accurate it is.

I did a lot today, does this sound right to you?

WATP 3 miles, with 2 pound weights:
    400 calories

    Sweeping/Mopping 1100 sq. feet (about 1 hour)
    330 calories

Playing with my daughter Abigail for 2 hours (lightly):
    528 calories
(I really underestimated on this one, I was out in the heat of Houston summer and it was more moderate play for about 3 hours, but I'ld rather under estimate then over.)

If this is right then I have burned 1258 calories for the day and I've only eaten 936 so far. Should I eat something else. Am I hurting my body by burning more calories then I am actually consuming.

I am still new to this but I think you should have something to eat. I am pretty sure that you are eating below your BMR level and that could put your body in starvation mode. Could be wrong and if I am then I am sure someone will correct me. Here is a site to figure out the BMR and AMR make sure you scroll down. Am interested to hear what the others have to say.
