For those who are looking at this post are probably Fat or Curious but either way its interesting and entertaining right?
Losing 80 pounds in 4-6 months wasn't easy and it took great determination and great motivation to come this far. Right now I weigh 140 pounds and my goal is 130-135, currently 18 years of age, and I think im healthy :P. Before I use to weigh 220, smoked 1-2 packs of cigarettes a day, drank Soda 24/7, ate a whole pie of pizza almost every day, and ate alot of fast food... and the result was slow metabolism, overweight, and anti-social. While I was "Fat" I was very anti-social and was laughed at because I was overweight but I don't blame em since it was my fault due to my carelessness.
I, then started to look up stuff on the internet about losing and such. I found Atkins and followed its program for a month and lost 15 pounds. I gave up smoking, drinking soda, and eating fast foods (except subways) in the process. The second month, I was stressed out and started doing my old bad habits again and I gained 5-10 pounds back. The third month I did atkins like I did in the first month and lost about 20 pounds and I gave up my old bad habits again but for good this time. The fourth and the fifth month I started to lift weights, jogg for 10-20 minutes, eat low-carb food, and started to go out more... as a result I lost 45 pounds. At the end of the 5 months I lost 80 pounds and I feel great!
My Menu,
Morning - 2 cooked Eggs, 2-4 slices of bacon, vegetables, and water
Lunch - 2-3 grilled chicken with lettuce, grape, and lots of water.
Dinner - I really didn't eat dinner but sometimes I ate a small amount of fruit (apple,grape, orange).
My menu does seem small but I survived with it and came this far with it. The most important thing to do while losing weight is to drink at least a gallon a water each day and walk or jogg 10-20 minutes each day. Smoking, Soda, Fast food, and doing nothing each day can make your life miserable in the long run.
I'm currently in my 6th month and im feeling great. I am still jogging 10-20 minutes each day and sticking to my menu each day (maybe 1-2 fast foods each month). In order to succeed you need a great amount of determination and motivation. Also good friends that will stop you from going to fast food places can help too.
