    I took my kids to the local fair today. Normally this would have been a very high temptation day. We ate lunch while at the fair and I had a sausage with onion and green pepper w/no bun. It was very greasy, but oh so good. I was able to resist all the sugary temptations all day. I am sitting here feeling so proud of myself. I have heard everyone say on this board to eat something with high fat to curb cravings, but I never really realized how true this was until today. Thank God for this board!!!

    General rule of thumb for success: If it requires a degree in chemical engineering to pronounce it, you probably shouldn't eat it.

      So very true....

      Congratulations on making it thru the fair without a cheat. Even better since you didnt feel deprived. It is so easy to cave.... You should be proud of your day!
