  • Grapefruit pectin

Hi Everyone! I went to vitamin world last night and bought a b complex supplement. Right now I am taking a multivitamin with coral calcium, a fish oil supplement plus my two or three tablespoons of the ground flaxseed. I have been drinking more than the 64 ounces of water a day. I think you can guess where I am going with this. I cannot go to the bathroom!! The woman told me to take one of the grapefruit pectin before bed. Does anyone take this and does it work? And has anyone ever done a super colon cleanse and if so what kind is the best? Thanks Jenn

The flaxseed usually works for me.

    How are you doing now?

I'm a firm believer in Metamucil fiber capsules. I discovered these during induction, when I was having quite a problem. They're almost pure pysllium husks. I take several in the morning, and the evening and everything works beautifully.

Get some glycerin suppositories and they'll have you going within 15 minutes. They're cheap, you don't have to worry about any carb counts, and if your body is ready to go, but reluctant to let go, they'll stimulate contractions so you get some results.
I'd try them before I'd get into any sort of colon cleanse.
