  • Psycho scale

I am a little obsessed with my scale but it is totally psycho... I'll step on it and it will say one weight and then I'll check it again and it will be like 5 lbs. different. It is digital but we have tried the regular ones too. Is this a common prob.? Has anyone found an accurate scale? I just usually round somewhere in between although I would love to go with the smaller number...hee hee-

I have a Tanita scale (w/body fat monitor) and LOVE it.

It was not too $$, maybe $70?

I find it insanely accurate, even when I wish it would give me some help

Since I'm a huge fan of accuracy, I love my Health-O-Meter Everweigh scale. It weighs me exactly the same as I weigh at the Cooper Clinic, the gyno's, etc. I've had it since 1998, have never needed a battery replacement for it, and it weighs up to 333 pounds.

It might be difficult to find, however; but most of the digital Health-O-Meters I've tried have been great, too.

I have a Taylor digital scale and it always seems very consistent. You can step on and off and on and off and still get the same reading every time.

You should probably try weighing yourself only once a day at most. Also try to weigh at the same time. I weigh myself in the morning when I wake up. However, if I were to weigh myself at midday after weighing in the morning, I'd probably be up about 4lbs or so. If I understood you right, try this and see if that's the problem. Your weight fluctuates greatly during the day. If your problem is you get on and it says one thing and you try it again like a second later and it says something else, then I don't know what to tell ya! I got a cheap digital from Target (like $15), I think it's a Taylor, and it works great.

I have a Taylor digital and it works well. When I did replace my old one I got depressed because my old one weighed lighter.

I don't remember what I have but it cost like $45. Anyway, mine does that...I will weigh in the morning (nude). If I step on it three times within a few minutes it will give me 3 different weights. It drives me NUTS I usually take an average....so annoying!!!!!

I gave away my digital for that reason.. plus.. I bought the one with the WHOLE range of numbers visible... I like seeing the distance from where I was... to where I am... and where I'm going....

mine is Health-o-Meter or Taylor... right now I don't even remember...

it was about $40..... and it's AWESOMELY consistent....
