  • losing inches but not pounds?

Hit here, first let me start by saying that I love this plan...I haven't felt this good in a lonnnng time!! I have been losing quite a few inches which is so awesome but am only losing about 1-2 lbs. a week ... is this fairly common? I'm thinking maybe it's because I don't hava a ton to lose?

Yep, yep, it's extremely common. There's a sticky on the SecondTimeARound forum about measuring every 2 weeks - it's got a lot of info and examples about how the inches come off faster than the pounds.

And, of course, wouldn't you rather it be this way than if the pounds came off but the inches stayed the same? Man, that would be frustrating.

WOW, your stats are fairly close to mine. It would be fun to compare weight loss. I have about the same to lose. I just started measuring this week, thanks to Finelly and others. I am also on the STAC group. Fins right, they do have a good article on losing inches vs. pounds.

Dude, 1-2 lb a week is rockin'! No need to feel bad over that!
