        What is rusk?
Dextrose is a no-no, although it's probably quite a small amount because it's listed near the end like that. I'm more concerned about all the E234's and E567's in that!
The question here is, do you want to ingest chemicals, or do you want to take some time, make your own burger patties from fresh ground meat and seasonings of your own choosing, cook them, and freeze them for future use?

I know that I feel much better when I eat something I made myself, and know that none of the ingredients contain numbers in the name. I know what parsley will do for me but I'm not sure what Preservative(E223) will do.
Think quality when it comes to what you put in your body.

Rusk is a filler/binder used in sausages etc
              http://www.scobiesdirect.com/ItemInf...tCriteria=RUSK
              Ingredients:
Wheat flour, salt and leavening agent (Ammonium Bicarbonate) released on baking.

So I would say - what with that and the dextrose I would find an alternative.

Meat patties are easy to make without sugar and wheat - just ground meat and spices and perhaps an egg to bind it.

I like the Birds Eye Beef Mega Burgers, Beef 99%, Salt, Pepper, Yeast Extract, Rosemary Extract.
I have trouble with the flavour of some meat products, I have to put so many herbs and spices, stock and sauces with plain beef mince that it stops being Atkins friendly. Have been enjoying chicken mince, it needs less disguising.

Hey, Excellent! Welcome to ADBB! I didn't know what rusk was, either, but Elizellen rocks! WOOT!

You could probably get your local butcher to put together some lamb patties for you ahead of time! If time is the problem, then it's worth it to pay a little extra for someone else making the patties!

according to the rules for cals in foods total= fats+proteins+carbs you have about 2.5 grams of carbs per burger. wouldn't it be better to make your own from some ground lamb and add your own spices
