Hey everyone, I have been off of the boards for a while, but I am back....I went off of the wagon pretty badly for about 8 weeks....I started a new medication and it wreaked havoc on my system! I could not control my appetite! Luckily I only saw a 3 pound gain before I slapped myself in the head and decided to get with the program again. I lost 30 pounds Jan 05-July 05....I am not going to let myself go back to my old ways, so I am giving myself a 2 week induction to get off on the right foot again....It is hard, but so far so good. I feel like a crack addict when I start thinking about sugar. OMG! I can so recognize the addiction!
So here is my question about coconut (the original title of my post lol) ....Where would UNSWEETENED coconut fall within the Atkins diet phases?.....Would this be permissable during induction? It is chock full of fiber...and fat...and it tastes really yummy with a little splenda sprinkled on it....
For the last three days I have had a super clean induction.....but today I ate some unsweetened organic dried coconut...and I am not sure if it is ok for induction. I can't find my DANDR book either...guess I am going to have to buy another copy. Thanks in advance for your help!
