Re: well..
I normally would say "no time like the present!", but in this case I'll go with "when you're ready." You only have 10 pounds you'd like to lose and are just getting adjusted to school again this week. Keep in mind the extra energy you'll get from eating well and don't put it off too long. Will you have time this weekend to plan ahead?
What kind of meal plan do you have at the cafeteria? Tell us what they have and we'll try to help with more suggestions. One of our nearby colleges has an open meal plan. You choose from either 5 or 7 days a week, but can eat anytime at several cafeterias. Another close college has set times for eating, so I know it does vary, along with quality and choices of food, but it should be able to supply you with quite a bit if you don't have time for shopping.
My sympathies though -- I'm not much on cafeteria food myself.

Re: well..
I have an all pnts meal plan. I can buy whatever I want. I wanna start now but its not convinient. I can start shopping Saturday to make it more convinient but I'm going to be moving rooms and I need a handy granola bar there for me. i have 1 hr off for lunch. When can i start! I have till October 21 to show off my new body. What can i do by then? I can lose! But then again i can lose w slimfast but id rather do atkins even if my mom condemns it. she wont know.. i wanna look amazing for when she sees me October 21.

Re: well..
If there's one thing I've learned about anything I want to accomplish in life, it's this: If I wait until it's convenient, there ain't anything that's ever gonna get done. LOL
You're going to just simply have to dig in and make a decision about what's important and make it happen. It's just as easy to have sliced meats and cheeses and veggies available to you as it is to have a granola bar - you have to go to the same place to buy them.
You've got about 5 weeks, give or take, to dig in and get it going on. You can do it if you decide to

Re: well..
Also, are you doing Atkins - just to lose the 10 pounds - then you'll go back to your old eating ways?
Atkins is for life, not a diet.

Re: well..
Starting is the hardest part. Just start... Somehow you'll get it all sorted out if you really want to. Once you've made the commitment, it'll be plain sailing, I'm sure.
Good luck!
