Onederland is just lurking around the corner for me, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I'm down to 202.5 this morning. I'm trying to figure out a special reward for myself when I reach it....Any suggestions?

Re: Reward for reaching Onederland?
Girl, for me, being in onederland would be its own reward!
You could treat yourself to something that encourages your continued success. A new pair of running shoes. Bodyfat testing. A new fitness magazine or video! An Ipod for listening to tunes while you walk. A new hairstyle. A makeover.
Anything which says to you, "Look at me work this way of eating, honey!
Congratulations for being so close!

Re: Reward for reaching Onederland?
Although reaching onederland is a reward, I am going shopping. I have only a few pair of jeans and a couple of tops that will fit this winter. I would really like an ipod, but I think that will have to be a Christmas gift. When you get to onederland pull me through. I'm getting close too.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Re: Reward for reaching Onederland?
Reward yourself!! That's my motto (lol). I also agree with Cleo in that crossing into Onederland is a reward in itself, but I love my material rewards.
My first big reward to myself (for just reaching 25 lbs) was a 14kt white gold bracelet. I normally wear Sterling. Every time I look down at my wrist, it reminds me that "I did it" and I can continue to do it.
So, with all that said, I would suggest getting something that you can "look at" and remind yourself of your achievement, besides passing the mirror (smile).

Re: Reward for reaching Onederland?
You definitely should reward yourself. When I reached ONEderland in my first go-round with Atkins, I bought myself a beautiful ring from my favorite jeweler. That turned out to be a mistake, though, because as I kept losing, it started falling off my finger all the time. Sadly, right now it is too small for me to wear.
But I look forward to wearing it when I reach ONEderland again. Hopefully, by Halloween.
Now I just have to think of a NEW reward for this time.

Re: Reward for reaching Onederland?
I didn't really reward myself with anything when I hit Onderland. But just recently I bought a lot of new workout clothes, including pants, sports bras/shirts, socks (I love my socks, they are white, very short you can barely see them and they say Hanes in pick letters) and new tennis shoes. I spent about 150 bucks total but I felt like it was worth it, I want to wear those socks every day but I have forbidden myself, I only wear a pair when I am working out, that means I am doing a lot more excercise lately.
Am I the only one who gets excited about socks, lol, guess so.
I love pink.
