Finally found the time to tell you all that I reached my goal about three weeks ago. What a fantastic day that was! Felt like the cat with the cream (and had some too, with blackberries!) Thank you everyone so very, very much for all the support and patient answers to some dumb questions. This board helped tremendously on the road to success.
and you are all totally wonderful!
I’m sticking in Pre Maintenance for the moment as I still haven’t managed to find my CCLM (and am still climbing the rungs), so am continuing to lose slowly. Actually, this doesn’t worry me too much, as it could be nice to have a couple of kilos leeway… but clearly I spent too long in extended induction. Also was fooled by a month long stall in OWL… then suddenly the weight just started falling off again and I reached goal before I could say Jack Robinson!
In retrospect, if doing it all over a second time (though I have no intention of lapsing) I’d move to OWL a lot sooner than I did. So, if anyone from extended induction is reading this, my advice would be: If you’re wondering whether you’re ready to move to OWL and can’t quite decide, take courage and do make the move. OWL is great, and weight loss really does continue. This WOE works, in all its phases!
Thanks again everyone and… happy losing (or maintaining)!!
