  • The famous "after baby Pooch"...go away!!

Okay, so I'm trying hard to get that tummy in shape...upper belly is looking not to shabby but I have only seen a minor change in lower stomach. Any tips or ideas on how to get rid of this or do I just keep on working out and it will eventually diminish? i just hate that pooch.. I usually exercise 6-7 days a week and add sit-ups and push-ups 3 xs a week....any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

How funny (well, not ha ha funny)...we're both the same weight and have the same problem. I'm taking some Tonalin 1000 CLA to see if it makes a difference. I'm hoping the combo of that and exercise it will go away. Drives me crazy because I have a pretty small waist and that pooch ruins my figure.

I'm glad you asked this because I've been thinking about it too!

Tonalin 1000 CLA ... What exactly is this? I know what you mean, I feel like my "pooch" is the one thing that is just going to be soooo stubburn to get rid of..frustrating but I guess I'll just keep working hard and hope that it diminishes....

This is where I got mine from...I don't know if it's just snake oil salesmen stuff but I thought I would give it a try anyway. If it doesn't work then...o'well!

What helped me is leg crunches, and walking on the treadmill. For some reason, no matter how many ab crunches, I can't get my mid section to go down as much as my "pooch".

I thought ab crunches worked mostly the upper abs.. reverse cruches the lower abs.

Think this is a body fat issue. There was a huge thread on this a while ago, but cant remember who had it..

            Will look.

Where did the word "pooch" come from?

I thought that was a doggy!!!!!!

              I have a 58 lb. pooch.

                Hola guys...

CLA (tonalin) has been proven in many studies to increase fat burning in the body. (Aim for about 3 grams per day...it will take several weeks before it kicks in as well.)

As for crunches...they will certainly make your abs look tighter, but they won't do much to get rid of the layer of fat that's covering them (aka the pooch). What you need to do is lower body fat...crank up the cardio, try tweaking your caloric intake (either up or down) or try some heavy, full-body weight training. Or...try some more dairy...theres also been studies showing that adding four servings of dairy like yogurt a day (its the calcium)...helps you burn significantly more fat...and most of this fat comes from the belly area!

                Good luck!

The funny thing about the Tonalin is I think it's improving my skin. I have adult acne and really sensitive skin and I've noticed an improvement over the last few days. I don't know if it's the Tonalin but I think it may be so if it is then I'll keep taking it just for the extra benefit if it is. Has anyone heard of it improving skin conditions?
