  • Last time I weighted this little was...

Today when I hopped on the scale i couldn't believe it. I weight 65,5kgs!

I was always a chubby child, and when I entered my teens it got worse, I was pretty much obese since 11. Last time I weighted this little was when I was 15!

I remember perfectly because I had just got home from a 2 weeks school trip, and my mom shouted "Your so skinny!". So she proceded to make all my favourite foods until I plumped up, so the weight loss didnt last. Mind you 65,5kgs does not make me look skinny, but I guess she was used to see me heavier.

Since then my weight has been up and down (up to 87kg, never lower than 70kgs), depending on whether i was minding what i ate or not.

And now after all this years i'm 65,5 again!! I'm so happy! I feel healthy, I'm never hungry, it couldn't be more perfect!

I don't post much but I'm an active lurker . I don't think I'd last this long without visiting this board, and acessing this world of information, speacially the recipes. So I want to thank everyone for your valuable posts.

Ok, just wanted to share, now back to lurk mode...

Hey Neonlike, from one semi-lurker to another, well done!

Always nice to see some metric stats as well. I wish it was as easy to lose a kilo as it is to lose a pound

Great job. Now just stay away from mom so she doesn't plump you up again!

Re: Last time I weighted this little was...

Thank you guys for all the messages!

I'm feeling very good now... if I don't lose anymore I'm still going to be happy, but I just know I will still be losing, even if it takes long. This is the great thing about Atkins, you have all the tools to make it work!

Some times I feel like a mad scientist, with all the calculations I do, carb count, now watching calories (I stalled because I was not eating enough), BMR, BMI, protein intake, etc., wow, so many aspects. This is actually fun!

clairebear ~ yes, so hard to lose a kilo! Good to see a fellow metric user!

Effie ~ my mom is now my best ally! she makes me Atkins friendly soup, and suggests veggie replacements for my favourite dishes. My latest sucess was "Bacalhau à Brás" (salted cod recipe mmmm), my favourite food in the world, where i replaced the fried potatoes with eggplant and it worked so good!
