Re: Yucky Side Effects
Oh, Kimberly I sure hope you get to feeling better I'm with everyone I really don't think it's normal and I would see a doctor. Where is your fever running is it fairly high you may have an internal infection.
HUGS get better soon.

Re: Yucky Side Effects
I havent felt yucky or have greasy hair, but since I have been on atkins my husband says my body temp is warmer. He used to snuggle with me alot, but he doesn't as much. He says I make him to hot. I got up and checked my temp when I read your article and I am running 99.2. I am not close to my TOM to raise my temp. Hmmmm....just a curious thing I guess.

Re: Yucky Side Effects
I'm warmer on Atkins than I usually am. That just means I don't yet need a sweater in the morning. It doesn't mean that I am running a fever or that dh doesn't wanna snuggle! THOSE two things sound like something unrelated to Atkins. Definately call the doctor.
As for the greasy hair, I'm having to shampoo every day now. And I sweat more, too. I think I'm just better hydrated and the fat in my diet is helping keep my skin moist. Also, the daily workout means I sweat too much to leave my hair unwashed after.Started Atkins 2d time 6/20/05
