Ok... I have read in a fitness magazine from some Dr. that no matter what, a carb is a carb and you have to count them in your diet. It says that if the product says 3 net carbs on the front and 18 carbs on the listing, then it is still 18 carbs ingested per serving.
I am soooo confused???? I am asking because I bought a container of meringue like cookie things. The container lists as follows.
Chocolate Meringues
Front----Naturally Fat Free, No Trans Fats, 0g Net Carbs, Sweetened with Splenda.
Back----Serv. size 13 cookies, serv./container about 4, Calories40,Total carbs 8g, Dietary fiber 2g, sugars 0g, sugar alcohol 6g, protien 5g
Vanilla Meringues
List the same except----35 cals.,total carbs 9g,dietary fiber 3g,protien 4g
Can someone please shed some light here? I have eaten 8 lil cookies so far.
