  • Ground almonds

Can't seem to find ground almonds, or almond flour listed on fitday or anywhere else. To get the carb cound, I've been putting down the weight of raw almonds (which I grind). Is that right? I know it's the dumbest question, but I seem to remember seeing somewhere that there was a difference between the ground weights and whole weights of nuts...

    Thanks anyone

    Sal

    Re: Ground almonds

If you choose 'Almonds, unroasted' you can click on the quantities arrow by the name and choose 'cup, ground' and say how much of a cupsworth you use - one Tablespoon is ,0625 cup.

That's terrific. Thanks Elizellen so much! Now why didn't I think to check the quantities list!?! By the way... like your new pic a lot; such a lovely smile.

      Tks again!

        Re: Ground almonds

It took me a month or so before I noticed the arrow and found those options!!

I like the photo too - it was the first one my DH took with his new camera and downloaded and edited on his new (first) computer too - didn't he do well!! Maybe one day he will work out how to airbrush the wrinkles too

Yes he did extremely well. As for wrinkles...can't see that many... and those few there are add depth and personality.

I was asked for pics from some online pals and was tempted to airbrush out my wrinkles (which have increased with weight loss, of course)...but in the end I didn't. It's me at 51. I feel great. And it's what's on the inside that counts.

          You look great!
