Re: Missions Training and Food
Are you able to call or email someone and find out what types of foods will be offered?
Lots and lots of people have special dietary needs (diabetics and high cholesterol folks for example) so it's not out of the ordinary for people to ask such questions. Most places will offer a selection of salads and meats, so you might be surprised at the options you find you have.
But ask about it..there's nothing wrong with that.

Offer to help prepare, or at least serve, the meals.
Not only is it a good way to show that you are appreciating the training (and you are a polite human being!), if you are serving, it allows you to eliminate any nasties for your own plate (rather than leaving them un-eaten) and you may be able to make your own serves of vegies a little larger.

Re: Missions Training and Food
Don't worry about seeming an awkward person - most catering staff must be used to 'dietary requirement' requests there are so many people nowadays with allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients as well as those with religious restrictions. And as Mocchiecat said, what is hard about supplying fresh veggies or a salad and plain meat??Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
