  • Milk??

Is milk allowed?? I have some spare carbs, calaories and fat to use and would like to know if I can make a hot drink with some skim milk(because that is what is in the fridge) and some heavy cream.

Is any kind of milk allowed or all off limits?

I am up to 32 carbs this week.

Dairy Rung of OWL and Pre-Maintenance is when people add in milk (the real stuff, not the low carb dairy beverage).

Milk has about 11-15 carbs per 8 fluid ounces (1 cup). Heavy cream has carbs as well, about 0.4-0.6 carbs per tablespoon. So depending on how you mix up your milk-cream concoction, you can possibly ingest half of your CCLL in just 8 fluid ounces of milk.
