Re: What is your next milestone?
My next goal is to get down to 165, the size I was for about a minute my junior year in high school when I met my now husband.
A main one that I just accomplished was fitting into my prom dress, I did it, it was an awesome feeling.

My next goal is to get to 189. Then my goal is to reach 150. I weighed that for a heart beat when I met my husband.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Re: What is your next milestone?
Mine is to make it through these next 2 weeks without doing the pinchy thing where I look at my neighbor from far away and pretend to pinch her head between my thumb and my forefinger.
Ahhh, there you are, miss neighborpants who touches my garbage cans! Touch this!

Re: What is your next milestone?
Right now there is lots and lots of stress around me. I am trying to maintain a positive attitude and find ways to relieve the stress that is causing me sleepless nights and turmoil. I have conquered the urge to eat when I'm upset, so thank goodness for that, but now I want to find a way to get rid of the knots in my stomach and keep healthy regardless of what is going on around me. So far I've been using positive affirmations and practicing yoga.Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Dedication gives wings to our dreams and keeps them in flight! In One Word...COMMITTMENT.

Re: What is your next milestone?
my biggest mini goal is 148 (or -50 lbs) because it has always been very hard for me to make it under 150. I think I've only done it twice (when I was 16 and once in college) and both times I didn't stay there long at all. for most of my life I was stabilized around 155-160, so I know it will be hard to get under that again (and stay there this time!).Sorry everyone. I've had to abandon Atkins. After slipping up, I gained back everything and more. I fully believe in and support Atkins, I know it works, but it's too hard for me. I'm following my own plan now, exercising more, eating less in general and healthier, still focusing more on veggies and fruits and whole grains and much less processed junk and bad carbs. I still visit here occasionally, so I will keep my stats listed here when I do. I wish everyone the best on this program or any others that work for you.
11-10-07: 210/146/125 - more than 60 pounds lost this year!

Re: What is your next milestone?
My first mini milestone is to make it through 14 days of induction and see what my resistance is. Next, is to extend that for a whole month with a goal of losing about 20lbs. It's a big goal so I am prepared to not reach it but will continue the work and be happy if I just lose 5-10lbs. Once I see the results I'll forecast further goals and timeframes from there. My most important change I am making is my mindset. That will be the key to attaining all of my goals.27 F 5' 7"

You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it. ~Maya Angelo~
