  • New BMI- No Longer "Obese"!

    I checked my BMI this morning, and it's 29, so I'm now just overweight, not obese. Whew! LOL!!!

          isn't it great you can share your joy at being only overweight here with folk who too know that joy you are feeling. Congrats on all the hard work you have done to morph your body from obese to overweight and you are going to do getting to nornal body fat.

          BTW keep a close eye on your body fat% as you drop pounds cause when you add lean body tissue from your exercise and Atkins WOE you can be at a very healthy body fat % and still be "overweight" on the BMI. With 142 pounds of lean body mass I'm overweight BMI and underweight from a body fat %

              2big, I'm right at the top of the chart for body fat%, 25%. So I'm getting to a good place!

                Congratulations of the progress! I hope to be there some day too. I did my BMI one time but I forget what it was now.
