I just wanted to tell you an experience of mine so that it just may help you stick to this WOE when you are not seeing changes on the scale. Well, we've all heard that you can be losing inches when we aren't losing pounds. For the past 6 weeks I have only lost 2 pounds and that was last week. I had tried on a pair of pants in the store last month and they were at least 3 inches from zipping. I tried them on last week after being down only 1 pound since the last time I tried them on and they zipped right up. This week they are a little loose. I haven't been a person to measure myself, but I would suggest it, if you think losing very slowly will frustrate you. Sometimes your body will have a pause on the scale. Please don't let it keep you from sticking to this WOE. It works!

Excellent advice, momtofour! And way to go on your NSV! It's true that when we aren't losing pounds on this way of eating, we are definitely losing inches. Weight can be extremely deceptive because it doesn't take into account muscle weight gain or water which is sometimes being hoarded by the muscle groups.

This is so very true. I have had many long pauses in weight loss where I've been losing inches not pounds. As a matter of fact, that's how I lose weight. I'll lose 1-2 lbs then go 2-3 weeks with no weight loss, but I notice (like this week) that my clothes are alot looser and fitting better/differently, or people will say that it looks like I'm losing more weight.

The scale is a good measurement, but so is measuring and the feel of clothes.

Congrats on fitting into those new pants! I just got new ones a month ago and these are starting to get baggy on me too.

Ahhh, see I told you I was a little slow. I was thinking it meant new size something, but I couldn't figure out the V.

            Thanks!

That works just as well, MoG! I actually like it better, especially under the circumstances.
