The success stories? Gone.
The phases? Can't find 'em.

The whole thing looks like a big commercial now.

Where is all the good information that used to be there?

We are truly alone in this now, armed only with our 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution books and each other!

I am so bummed, though. That site used to be someplace you could send a newbie for information, and now it's a place you send someone you don't like.

I've been busy copying some of the recipes out of there before they do away with them altogether.
I went there to look up the Pork Tenderloins in Creamy Mustard Sauce (omg..you've all just GOT to try it!) and I noticed all the changes. They don't even specify which phase each recipe is for anymore. I gave the link and then I realized I needed to do a disclaimer about how if people wanted to try the recipes they need to have a very firm grip about the phase they are on and which foods they can eat if they want to make something from there.

Wow, and i just used the link at the bottom to choose my country, thinking there was a canadian specific site maybe, and it took me to a list of atkins products that they sell here LOL.

I'm surprised they did something with it! They haven't done anything for like....6 months? I've tried the eDiets Atkins thing before and it wasn't too bad but I have to admit that I didn't keep up with the membership because I could find everything on Atkins' site . Well, not anymore . Funny, one of the reasons I stumbled on this site was looking for fresh success stories - they haven't updated those since 2003 "?".

The two recipes we really love from there are
Pork medallions with Creamy Mustard Sauce (I make it with chicken breast as well)
Chicken with Lemon and Capers

Please share if anyone has favourites from there, so I can go snap them up!

WOW!!

What a mess!!

I 'used to' keep a journal there. I stopped about a week ago when I started using Nutridiary.com.

I noticed that every time I opened Explorer (my journal page was my home page), it would come up 404. I thought the site was down and thought nothing of it. Then, I stumbled upon this thread.

It took me a minute to find the new stupid site. What the he** did they do? I couldn't find my journal at all!! All my saved recipes, all my logged successes just gone with no notice!! They even had a half-decent Atkins University going for a while.

What a mess they are making of things.

So sad...

I think the recipe section is much nicer now! Better organized that's for sure. To me it doesn't look like they're planning on getting rid of it--why would they spend all that time setting it up so nicely to just delete it?

I haven't been there in AGES! Maybe I should start copying the recipes too....

Elizellen, copying them and posting them here would be copyright infringement. But if we copy them and share them amongst ourselves, it really won't be "infringing" since we aren't posting them.

I guess what we have a recipe share group--strictly by PMs. I can sticky a thread in the Recipes/Chat section and if you want recipe atkins.com Recipe XYZ, just post "Looking for atkins.com recipe XYZ". Whoever has it can respond in the post, "I'm PMing it to you".
