We bought ours from a science store. We wanted precision. We also use it to weigh pinewood derby cars for Cub Scouts. *l* Spendy, but worth it, depending on what you need it for.

holy cow- i don't need that much accuracy I was thinking under 40-50 bucks

      I found a couple

      http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=2684072

But I was hoping to go out and get one today... I guess I will just probably end up ordering one... anyone have any input on these two?

I like the Polder because it states what increments it measures minimally (1/8 of an ounce or 2 grams)... the other one doesn't state that. At least not under specifications.

Rikki, I have the Good Cook Electronic Digital Scale, which I purchased for under $30 at Walmart (retails for $40). Very precise! In fact, I even use it to weigh my packages, so it serves double-duty as providing accurate postage (with USPS.com).

                      Anyway, here it is!

You can "Buy It Now" from an eBay seller with 100% positive feedback for just $24.98 total, shipping included!

Thanks Sheila- I am looking into that one. Has anyone heard of this one? I can't find much info about it but it is pretty cheap- which isn't always the best thing...

Duh rikki- I didn't scroll down to read the specs and stuff. I think I may browse around there because you get free shipping with a 25 buck purchase! LOL
