Meeting the Picture Freak!

I have had the fortune to meet up with "The Picture Freak" aka Iyamamashke. Yes everyone, on Sunday, Sarah and I met, half way in Nowheresville Alberta, in person. I also got to meet her adorable 3 children, who I could easily adopt as grandchildren (I don't have any of my own yet). It is easy to see where the kids get there wit and charm from,,,,their Mommy of course! Sarah is even more inspiring in person, than on line, and looks even better in real life! Her transformation is truly amazing, and it was great to have a short visit, even had a chance to visit the park, swings & all. It's so great to meet a virtual buddy in person, and everyone should try to do so, or at least make an effort. It truly is rewarding! Sarah, you're a sweetie!!!

Thx Wanna! BTW, I have a friend in Ottawa, that I visit occasionally, on route to Montreal (that's where I'm from). Who knows, maybe one day we'll meet when I'm out there!

Moi aussi! I was born there. We lived there til I was about 5 then we moved to T.O. I still have some relatives out there. Don't get to see them much. Montreal drivers kind of freak me out. They make up their own rules I think. Where am I? Oh, yes, lucky you, Cruiser Gal, getting to hang out with Sarah. I bet she's more of a bundle of energy in person than she is on the Board.

Hey Cruiser I'll post the pic if you would like so everyone can see up HE HE.

I ahd a wonderful time and Pictures sure as heck don't do anyone Justice. Cruiser lookes sooo great and I was sooo excited to meet up with her. A last minute thing but, we made it work and I was sooooo happy. It's like meeting a great friend and it was like we knerw eachother for ever LOVED IT.

Oui un nouveau forum pour les francophone. On peut parler de n'importe quoi et personne va comprendre. Moi je suis une anglophone qui a appris le Français quand j'été jeunne.

Et sans accent, sans doute! Mes grands-parents paternels ont parlé une sorte de français - Cajun. Et moi, c'etait ma specialité à l'université, et j'étais professeur de français pendant quinze ans.

Un forum pour nous -- quelle bonne idée!

Et mois, j'ai oublier mon francais. J'ai demange de montreal en 1978. C'est longtempts que je ne parle pas francais. Bienvenue a toutes mes pals de montreal.

What part of Montreal did you all live in? I grew up in Outremont, went to high school in the Cote Des Neiges area, and when I got married lived in Cote St. Luc! Any neighbours out there?

I lived in Chomedy, Laval when I was young then moved away and then went back to go to McGill.
