  • The Great Cleochatra Mystery SOLVED! :)

A lot you have wondered how someone like Cleochatra who looks like this...

... weigh 217 pounds at the time those photos were taken (Oct 31, 2005). As most people have observed, she can't be that heavy based on the pics.

I think I've figured it out.

Cleo weighs herself using Troy pounds!

Troy weight is a system of units of mass customarily used for precious metals and gemstones.
Troy pounds, which are used for precious metals and gemstones, is lighter than the typical pound (or avoirdupois pound), such that one avoirdupois pound is approximately equal to 1.2 troy pounds.

So assuming that Cleo was 217 troy pounds at the time the pics were taken, that would mean her actual weight last Oct 31 was really approx. 180lbs.

Just goes to show you how precious she really is.

I think you've hit on it, Robbie. We already know how precious she is, and she really does look like a petite cutie in those photos, so your explanation is the only logical one!

Thanks for clearing that up for all of us who've been wondering about that same thing.

She's precious, isn't she? In fact, once when I was reading this board & happened to be on one of her posts, my husband walked in and the first thing he said was, "Oh, she's cute!!" I told her, too. She is!

You guys. Robbie. I am so incredibly- I don't have words for this post. The first time I started reading, I had to walk away. The blush factor on a scale from 1-10 was 27. I am the person who is so incredibly blessed. You are the precious ones. I don't think I've ever read anything more humbling and amazingly-again, I don't have words- in all my days at ADBB. And for me. Thank you.
