  • He moved the thingie!!

I went to my doctor today for something not related to weight loss, but he weighed me anyway. When I was there last he had to move the bottom weight to the 150 mark and then finish it off with the upper arm (or maybe I have that backwards...whatever it is..you get the idea)
Anyway, he pushed the weight to 150 and it went CLUNK and dropped down, so he had to back it off.
This is the first time he's had to do that so we did a little cheer...lol
I've known I was under 150 for quite some time of course, but this was sort of a ceremonial thing with us since he's been my buddy through the whole journey.

    It was kind of cool...

    (did this make sense?)

Congratulations! Yes, get into something slinky and post a photo - none of these jeans and coats! If it's cold you'll just have to do it inside!

You must feel very pleased with yourself, and how luckyyou are to have a supportive doctor. All my local ones think Atkins is an evil warlock, so I'm doing it pretty much on my own.

There will not...I repeat, NOT be any swimsuit photos, sorry!!
I don't think my body does 'slinky', so don't get your hopes up about those either...lol
Trust me, it's better if I stay fully dressed.
You can't be heavy for over 20 years, lose the weight and be slinky...things don't snap back...*my* things aren't snapping back anyway...lol.

We get our digital camera back tomorrow though, so hopefully it's fixed and I can post something else.

            Moochie,

I think my *things* won't snap back either. I guess I will have to have a tummy tuck and a boob job if I want to be slinky. Maybe I will invest in one of those tight corset things till I can afford all the work.

I second that. I still have the raw Photoshop file of your sig so It'll be easy to modify.

Elsie, I can't WAIT to see your progress pics!!
I think it really shows up dramatically on us shorties. I saw a picture of me with a group of folks, and I said to my bf "Gee...I'm really little, aren't I?" Not so much that I meant I was slimmer, more just...I'm...little, compared to everyone else.
I guess with the extra weight, I felt I was a force to be reckoned with..and I don't feel that way now...
                          I don't think that made any sense...lol

Yeah...I will have to make a point of taking some on my way down. Maybe at 200 pounds.

It kinda made sense...I feel like I was so heavy that it is taking extra long for anyone to notice.
