  • Fitday Public Journals

May I encourage all Fitday users to to publish the address of their Fitday Public Journal?

It may be copied from your Fitday Homepage to your Atkins Diet Bulletin Board signature.

It allows the experienced and the new folk to gain insight into what is working for others. We could all learn a lot form the practice.

Confession: I often sneek a look at yours, Higgies. You are a lot younger than I, and I am a little taller, but we are the same weight. I think your upper body muscles are better developed than mine, which will explain why we are the same weight but you have the better waist line in spite of my height. Our calorie intake is about the same, we both eat quite alot of "real man's meat", but there the similarity ends - we have quite different tastes. And my excercise is entirely cycling which explains my relatively poor upper body development. I ought to hit the weights. I have no excuse. My office on-base is 15 yards from the gymn!

So you see, folks, simply adding that address to your signature could help us all as we learn frome each other.

Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
    he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Atkins makes exercise mandatory - I took up cycling - see last pics at 203lb.

I think that's a fabulous suggestion, Labarum I know I've learned a ton looking at those same types of things.

I have FitdayPC, so my Fitday is not accessible. I do, however, Blog my intake and whatnot almost daily (I try hard, but you know how busy life gets!) and I post pictures of my Fitday totals as well there and often in my Journal in the Journal Chats forum.

So be sure you're clicking on links in Signatures too, everyone, because you just might find all that info and so much more lurking there!

Great idea - I'm willing to do it.

That said, I don't log any of my exercise into Fitday because its never going to be remotely accurate.

            I like that idea too!

I've been trying to break myself of using another calculator (one that I paid for and the subscription is running out), because I want to just cancel the subscription...and this would be a good reason to do that!

I'll make sure mine is updated for this last week and start using it all the time!
