Yesterday I jumped on my crappy old scales and they said I had put on 8 kgs in a week! I maintain this is impossible, as I've been sticking strictly to my OWL at around 35 carbs per day. As I knew the scales were old and probably dodgy, I went out and bought new ones.
Fellow Atkineers, it was HORRIBLE! On the new ones I weigh 115 kgs, and I thought I was dosn to 92kgs. I am berating myself for not buying new ones at the start, but I was budgeting for the car's annual registration.
So, I've decided to kick start with a new 2 weeks on Induction and go on from there. Boy, am I disappointed though. Instead of being 1/3 of the way to my goal, (16 kgs lost from4
, it seems I was about 131 when I staretd, not 108, so I have 55 to go (instead of 48 all up), and am only 22.5% of the way.
Still, it's a lot better than nothing, I guess.
LESSON - to all new folk - check/calibrate your scales BEFORE you start!
