hello every1 i have a question about soda water and mineral water by my way of thinking these two yummy drinks r 100 % o any thing other than the gas they use for the bubbles anyway any comments would be nice thanks from oz muzza
Are you talking about flavored seltzer? No sweetener, just carbonated water? I drank that alot with no problem. Just make sure it contains ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT WATER.
The sodium in carbonated water may promote water retention. Check how much is in there. As always, your mileage may vary.

I love sparkling mineral water, which will list things like magnesium, potassium etc down the side (as opposed to soda water, which just have sodium) but always have it as an extra, NOT A REPLACEMENT for my 8 glasses of good old plain stuff daily. I find a glass after a meal seems to help me digest, I don't get a reflux pain after eating if I have a glass. And all those minerals must count for something, mustn't they? I do get ones with low sodium if possible.
Caution: Many drinks labelled mineral water are now just plain soda water (brands here in Oz in this category include Mt Franklin, Schweppes, Waterfords and many other big name brands) .

I have been drinking a lot of soda water lately. I find that it's better for me than Carbonated/sparkling water is. i'm not sure what the difference is, lol, probably just the gases in it. But soda water helps me to digest my food and helps sort my stomach out after a meal. But, like someone else said, I just have a glass after a meal. I also have a glass when I'm really craving a soda. It's just as fizzy, so it satisfies the craving lol
