  • Resturant Dining.

I've tried Friday's Hot Chicken Salad on the Atkins approved menu and loved it.
Tomorrow night I'd love to go out to get a good meal somewhere else that has some new low-carb choices.
I've looked through the resturants thread a few times. I was thinking about trying Ruby Tuesday's, or maybe Cracker Barrell. (Any other ideas would be awesome.)
Anyone have a bad/good experience with either of these places?
If not, just wondering if they have a decent variety for an Atkins'eer.

Ruby Tuesday has a whole menu for us. There is steak with broccoli and mushrooms. YUMMY!

Megs posted a thread with lots of websites you can look at menus and nutrition info for many fast food outlets and restaurant chains

You might want to look at the 'Applebees Warning' on the thread I posted above.
Apparently some branches add sugar to their steaks
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

always ask what is in the food when you eat out and you will find you caneat most any where if yoiuy are picky about how your meal is prepared.

oh and know even though the cheesecake is Atkins it isn't Dr Atkins it is from a bakery called Atkins and the sweetner wasn't all splenda last time I was checking iy was a blend of splenda, AceK and 2 sugar alcohols erythritol and maltitol

Pretty much any restaurant can be made Atkins friendly! I love Ruby Tuesdays, too. My husband and I eat out way more than we should...but nearly all places have grilled chicken or burgers and will substitute a salad for fries. My husband and I even went to a Mexican buffet and ate taco salads without the shell.
