Hi. I posted this in another thread, but I'm curious and anxious for a response so I decided to repost it as a new thread.
Hello, my name is Sarah and it's a pleasure to be back on Atkins. I'm just re-starting this WOL, and I'm really eager to lose 30 pounds by January 7th, 2006 (my brother's wedding). I currently weight 295. I quit smoking about 3 weeks ago, which was the most difficult thing I've ever done. So, now, it is time for me to start a healthier WOL.
I have to admit that I'm really not very good at this whole induction phase. I think a better name for it under my plan is the "not-so-induction". I find that I eat nuts, peanut butter, sugar free jello, splenda, and cool whip -- all things that I know are not allowed during this phase. How much does that really impact the result? Should I really try to stick directly to the plan at this point?
Has anyone done the induction phase and not stuck exactly to plan (still keeping under 20 carbs a day) and been successful?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
