  • This is a bummer what now?

    Hi everyone,
    I am feeling really discouraged. I got married 5 months ago, and since then I have gone from 132 to 146. I have now started atkins again, after losing 50 lbs and now gaining 10-15 back. I started atkins again 3 weeks ago but got really sick and the doctor said that it was my colon, I had never gotten sick like that before. So anyways I stopped the diet til I felt better. I started again about 2 weeks ago and sincve then I have went from 146 to 141.6 as of today. Before I got sick I was really good with exercise but now I am kinda lagging. I want to be 132-135 again before I leave for christmas break at my college which is around the middle of december. I need some encouragement, I am feeling really low. I felt so pretty at my wedding and now I feel like crap. Oh and it doesnt help that I am on my period . Anyways thanks for reading my thread

    i know how u feel, wen u have experienced sucess and then jus destroyed ur efforts, but i suppose u now know that since you have done it once you can do it again, iam rite now at ure original starting weight and i was wondering how long it took you to lose those 50 pounds the 1st time???? im quite determind to lose the weight but iv sed that bout a thousand times before, lol, neways, everyone is here for u , and we ALL know how u feel, good luck xxxxxxxx

      You are doing fine. Don't worry so much about the scale. Just think you are a few pounds lighter than you had been. Stick with the WOE. Do little bouts of exercise if you have to. Park farther away. Take a few walks, just modify your exercise routine.

        rememeber when you start Atkins you will feel bad as you go therough the withdrawls from those carbs and anything else you were addicted to. Add TOM and you got an real emotional mess going on.

        What you doing for the exercise part of your Atkins? exercise can make you feel much better.
